Swipey Cydia Tweak Lock Screen App Launcher on iOS 7

Since the launch of iOS 7 there are a number of Tweaks which are being developed by various developers. Some of the developers are also busy in updating their existing Cydia apps to make them compatible with iOS 7 like one of the most important Tweak is Zeppelin to Change Carrier Logo of iPhone on iOS 7.

Swipey, lock screen application launcher is now available in Cydia, for Jailbroken devices. This has been developed a few days back. J. Tyler Nettleton, the developer of Atom, a popular launch lock screen for iOS 6 has also developed this tweak.


It helps the iDevice uses in a useful way. Swipey lets its users to launch their respective desired apps from the iOS7 lock screen. Swipey is actually pretty basic and simple. The integration of the tweak is perfect and doesnot show any adverse effects on the performance of the Apple device.

To learn how dose this tweak works you have to take a look at the above given picture. Firstly, you open the stock Settings app and look for “Swipey” at the bottom. This is the setting page of the tweak and you need to configure it before using this feature. After that, If you see in the picture when you swipe to the left in the lock screen, you will be able to launch one of the six user defined applications directly from the lock screen in a quite simple way. The background can also be changed to match the interface of the application when you swipe. If continue sliding, you may go through all the six applications. Swipey is compatible with all devices with iOS 7. Swipey also supports iPad, iPod Touch, the A7 and devices like iPhone 5s. Swipey is available in the BigBoss repo for $ 1.99.
