Apple has announced the new MacBook Air with a lot of improvements on 10 June 2013. It was already expected that Apple is going to announce something new in this WWDC 2013. And we have heard the news in shape of improvment is MacBook Air. The MacBook Air was expected to be launched with improved specifications. As per Apple’s promise, the new MacBook Air has some improvments and the most improtant one is of battery timing. Battery Time Apple MacBook Air
Last year’s versions of MacBook Air had battery timings of 7 / 5 hours for 13.3 inch / 11.6 inch respectively. The newer versions of MacBook Air has the amost near to two times of previous versions. The new battery timings of MacBook Air are 12 and 9 hours for 13.3 and 11.6 inch models respectively. The 10 hours battery includes 10 hours of iTunes video playback which means as promised Apple has delivered all day battery performance for new MacBook Air. So if you are planning to use is for professional purposes, there is no need ot carry charging kit everywhere.
Basic Specs MacBook Air 2013 Model
Apple has updated the MacBook Air with the latest Intel Haswell processors and faster graphics than the previous generation. The new processors also allow a better battery life which we have already stated. The new MacBook Air also comes equipped with 802.11ac Wi-Fi for up to 3x the wireless performance of 802.11n — and to make sure you’ll be able to use it, Apple is also debuting a new version of the AirPort Base Station. At only four inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, the latest AirPort can also be equippped with either 2TB or 3TB hard drives and includes an improved antenna configuration.
Apple MacBook Air 2013 Prices
Coming over to the most important fact which is price, both the 11 inch and 13inch models will be available from 10 June 2013 onwards on Apple’s official website, and the prices have been lowered a bit. Now the 13 inch model starts from $1,099 with 128GB of flash storage, while the 11 inch model starts from $999 with 128GB flash.
