A few hours Apple launched the latest version 4 of their iOS 6 Beta series for developers only. If you are a developer, only then you could download the same version from your own account. Once the new version of iOS 6 beta 4 is launched the next step is always a question in everyone’s mind that, can it be Jailbroken or not? So the answer is yes because soon after the launch of the latest beta firmware version 4, MuscleNerd, a well known hacker has announced via his twitter that you can Jailbreak it through Redsn0w using the existing version i.e 0.9.13 dev3.
So far there is no new version of Redsn0w launched by the iPhone Dev Team which generally comes out within hours of new iOS beta release. But this time they have not released the latest version exclusively for iOS 6 Beta 4 support. Well, if the existing version is going to work properly, there may not be any requirement of launching maybe dev4 of Redsn0w. Otherwise, we also know that iOS 6 Beta 4 was launched exactly 20 days after iOS 4 Beta 3. Now as the launch countdown timer is closing to the tentative launch date of iOS 6, which is September 12 we may find more beta versions coming to scene in close circuit of time. As Apple is serious in security issues as well as removal of existing bugs, so they will keep on releasing beta versions for developers so that all the errors and bugs are gone by the time final version of iOS is launched.
Also remember that as the iOS 6 Beta 4 is for developers only so is the case with Jailbreak with Redsn0w as they have to update their existing Cydia packages for current version of iOS 6 and this Jailbreak is semi-tethered so it will not even install Cydia on the home screen of your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
Launch of upcoming iOS 6 final version is going to be a giant leap forward by Apple, if you take the amount of changes into account. Changes include some major release and update of existing software. There are going to be more than 200 features in iOS 6 which is a great amount, so now people are waiting to see what all would they be able to see on launh date in September. Apple has taken the bold step by building their own advanced mapping system offering benefit of 3D mapping and fly-over city tours, turn-by-turn navigation, which in itself involves a major overhaul of the OS.With so much excitement of upcoming operating system, users have another hope that Jailbreak of new version will further enhance the user experience up to a great level.
